Lee Hyun-soo to Star in MBC's 'Undercover High School' Alongside Seo Kang-joon

Actress Lee Hyun-soo has officially joined the cast of MBC's upcoming Friday-Saturday drama, Undercover High School (언더커버 하이스쿨), as announced by her agency, Masks Studio, on December 21, 2024. Following her role in SBS's Connection (커넥션), Lee is set to showcase her unique potential and captivating presence in this new series.

Undercover High School, written by Lim Young-bin and directed by Choi Jeong-in, revolves around a National Intelligence Service agent who goes undercover as a high school student to track down the missing gold bars of Emperor Gojong. In the drama, Lee Hyun-soo will portray Han Seung-jae, a member of the student council at a prestigious private school, bringing a contrasting personality to her previous student role in Connection.

Lee gained significant attention for her performance as the young Jun-seo in SBS's Connection, where her chemistry with fellow actor Yoon Nam-woo and her impressive acting skills left a strong impact on viewers.

In addition to her recent projects, including the film The Distributors (유포자들) and the web drama Love and Wish (러브 앤 위시), Lee has also appeared in the recently released TVING drama The Law of Love in the Big City (대도시의 사랑법), further solidifying her rising status in the industry with a series of notable roles.
