Lee Hae-ri Returns to School Drama in 'Competition of Goodness'

On February 6, a press conference for the STUDIO X+U drama '선의의 경쟁' (Competition of Goodness) was held at CGV in Yongsan, Seoul. The event was hosted by Park Seul-ki and featured cast members Lee Hae-ri, Jung Soo-bin, Kang Hye-won, Oh Woo-ri, Kim Tae-hoon, Young-jae, and director Kim Tae-hee.

'Competition of Goodness' is a mystery thriller adapted from a 76-episode webtoon, set in the elite Chaehwa High School, where fierce competition for college entrance exams unfolds. The story follows 'Seul-gi', who transfers to the school and encounters friends revealing their ambitions, alongside the mysterious death of her father, a former exam question writer.

Lee Hae-ri, who plays the role of 'Yoo Jae-i', expressed her excitement about returning to a school-themed drama, stating, "When I first read the script, it felt very intriguing. The writing was captivating, and I thought it would be an honor to participate in its adaptation into a visual format."

She acknowledged the challenges of portraying a high school student, saying, "This role could be seen as a burden, but I had a strong desire to be part of it. I believe there are aspects of the story that can only be fully understood in your late twenties. So, regardless of my age, I decided to take the plunge. As time goes on, it becomes harder to participate in school dramas, which motivated me even more to join this project."
