Actor 이규한 has been honored with the Best Performance Award at the 2024 SBS Drama Awards held on December 21 at the SBS Prism Tower in Mapo-gu, Seoul. He received this accolade for his role in the drama '지옥에서 온 판사' (The Devil Judge), where he portrayed the chilling serial killer J.

The Best Performance Award is given to actors who captivate audiences with their powerful performances, akin to a live stage act. 이규한's portrayal of the malevolent character J in 'The Devil Judge' has further solidified his reputation as one of South Korea's leading actors.

'지옥에서 온 판사' is a fantasy action drama that follows the story of a demon, 강빛나 (played by 박신혜), who inhabits the body of a judge and meets a passionate detective, 한다온 (played by 김재영), as she seeks to punish wrongdoers and transform into a true judge amidst a hellish reality.

In the series, 이규한 plays 정태규, the eldest son of politician 정재걸 (played by 김홍파) and the former fiancé of 강빛나. Initially presented as a charismatic CEO, 정태규 is revealed to be the serial killer J, and 이규한's nuanced performance captures both his terrifying duality and devilish traits, leaving viewers in suspense.
