Lee Dong-gun Plans to Move to a Family-Friendly Home for Daughter Roa
In the latest episode of SBS's variety show, My Little Old Boy (미운우리새끼), actor Lee Dong-gun shared his plans to move to a new home where his daughter, Roa, can freely visit. During the April 13 broadcast, fellow actor Choi Jin-hyuk discussed his preparations for independence. When asked by Seo Jang-hoon about his reasons for moving out, Choi Jin-hyuk humorously noted that as an adult, he finds it uncomfortable with his family's nagging.
Lee Dong-gun chimed in, stating, 'It's time to move,' as he mentioned his daughter Roa, who is now in elementary school and turned nine this year. He expressed a desire for her to come over and spend the night more often.
Kim Hee-chul joked about the contrasting situations, saying, 'Choi Jin-hyuk wants to live apart from family, while Lee Dong-gun wants a home for family togetherness.' Choi Jin-hyuk clarified that he simply needs his own space, revealing that he has been looking for a house for three years. However, his mother humorously interjected that she wants to be the one to move out first.
The episode then featured a visit to a detached house in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province, which Choi Jin-hyuk introduced as being priced at 1.07 billion won. When asked about potential loans, he admitted he was unaware of interest rates and management fees, leading to laughter among the cast as they joked that he might have to live with his mother forever.
As the discussion continued, it was suggested that the house would suit Lee Dong-gun better than Choi Jin-hyuk. Lee Dong-gun responded positively, saying he thought it was a good option but mentioned he had already found another place to check out for living with his child.
