Lee Dong Wook to Appear on Special Lunar New Year Episode of 'Pinggye-go'

Actor Lee Dong Wook is set to make an appearance on the special Lunar New Year episode of 'Pinggye-go'. A teaser video titled '[Special Preview] Third Lunar New Year Holiday' was released on the YouTube channel 'Tteun Tteun' on January 25, revealing that the episode will air on January 29.

In the preview, Lee Dong Wook joins host Yoo Jae Suk, along with comedians Jo Se Ho and Nam Chang Hee, as they engage in lively discussions. The clip features Jo Se Ho and Nam Chang Hee singing and dancing to G-Dragon's 'Power', while Lee Dong Wook's unimpressed expression adds a humorous touch.

Yoo Jae Suk praised Lee Dong Wook's portrayal of a nonchalant character, to which Jo Se Ho jokingly remarked, "At first, I thought he didn’t like me, but that’s not the case." Lee Dong Wook then whispered to Yoo Jae Suk, saying, "I kind of dislike you," which elicited laughter from the group. Nam Chang Hee chimed in, saying, "I heard that!" Jo Se Ho was taken aback, asking, "So you really dislike me a little?" and Yoo Jae Suk added, "You’ve become funnier."

Jo Se Ho also mentioned that there have been many positive articles about the 'Pinggye-go' awards this year, to which Lee Dong Wook corrected him, saying, "It’s a Pinggye-go ceremony, not an awards show." As laughter erupted from Yoo Jae Suk, Jo Se Ho suggested they move on, but Nam Chang Hee playfully retorted, "You didn’t study Korean, did you?" showing that even close friends can’t let things slide easily.

Additionally, Lee Dong Wook asked, "Do you also bow to your father-in-law and mother-in-law for New Year’s and receive pocket money?" He humorously acted out giving a small amount of money, saying, "Our Yoo Jae Suk, this is just a little..." to which Yoo Jae Suk responded with a mock angry expression, saying, "I’m really annoyed right now," bringing more laughter to the scene.

The special Lunar New Year episode of 'Pinggye-go' will be released on January 29 at 9 AM.
