Lee Chan-won Expresses Admiration for Announcers on 'Immortal Songs'

On the November 23 episode of KBS 2TV's entertainment program Immortal Songs (불후의 명곡), Lee Chan-won shared his admiration for the profession of broadcasting. The episode featured a special theme titled 'Announcers Who Left Home vs. Announcers Who Stayed Home.'
As the MC, Lee Chan-won expressed his excitement about the special episode, stating, "I came to the recording studio today with a very excited heart. I have dreamed of being an announcer, and it is a profession I deeply admire. I always pay my respects to those who work tirelessly day and night to deliver accurate and prompt information." His heartfelt words resonated with the announcers present, who praised him, saying, "Chan-won speaks really well, just like an announcer."
Another MC, Kim Jun-hyun, humorously remarked, "Lee Chan-won must have a dream of marrying an announcer. He really wants that!"
The senior announcer Oh Young-sil chimed in, suggesting that they ask Kim Byeong-chan, known for his romantic escapades, about his experiences. Although Kim Byeong-chan gained attention as a handsome announcer, he clarified, "I have hosted 'Entertainment Weekly' for a long time, but I haven't actually dated much."
Oh Young-sil playfully added, "He’s being so shameless! He hasn’t just dated one person; he’s had his share across various broadcasting stations!" This light-hearted banter added to the fun atmosphere of the show.
