According to the latest big data analysis conducted by the Korean Corporate Reputation Research Institute, Lee Byung-hun (이병헌) has secured the top spot in the brand reputation rankings for movie actors in April 2025. Following him are Ha Jung-woo (하정우) in second place and Go Soo (고수) in third.

The analysis, which covered data from March 15 to April 15, 2025, evaluated the brand reputation of 100 beloved actors in South Korea, utilizing a total of 142,398,640 data points. This figure represents a 2.29% decrease compared to the 145,736,168 data points recorded in March.

The brand reputation index is derived from extracting brand big data and analyzing consumer behavior, categorizing it into participation value, communication value, media value, community value, and social value, while applying weights to positive and negative ratios. The index for movie actors specifically analyzes consumer brand consumption patterns through participation, media, communication, and community indices.

The top 30 actors in the April 2025 brand reputation rankings include:

Lee Byung-hun's brand achieved a participation index of 1,014,237, a media index of 1,357,247, a communication index of 1,668,312, and a community index of 2,787,269, resulting in a total brand reputation index of 6,827,065.

Ha Jung-woo's brand ranked second with a participation index of 691,248, a media index of 932,786, a communication index of 980,491, and a community index of 1,833,491, leading to a total brand reputation index of 4,438,016.

Go Soo's brand came in third with a participation index of 209,228, a media index of 316,869, a communication index of 1,254,644, and a community index of 1,723,072, resulting in a total brand reputation index of 3,503,812.

Lee Je-hoon and Lee Joon-hyuk followed in fourth and fifth places, respectively, with their brand reputation indices calculated at 3,259,621 and 2,681,148.

Korean Corporate Reputation Research Institute's director, Koo Chang-hwan, noted that while Lee Byung-hun's brand maintained the top position, there was a 2.29% decrease in brand data compared to March. Detailed analysis revealed a 5.92% drop in brand consumption, a 6.61% decrease in brand issues, and a 6.55% decline in brand communication, although brand diffusion saw a 3.72% increase.

In terms of link analysis, Lee Byung-hun's brand was associated with terms like 'hit,' 'smooth sailing,' and 'breakthrough,' while keyword analysis highlighted 'competition,' 'baduk,' and 'Cho Hun-hyun.' The positive-to-negative ratio analysis showed a remarkable 89.80% positivity rate.
