LE SSERAFIM's Heo Yunjin Delays New Song Release Following Tragic Jeju Airplane Accident
Heo Yunjin of the girl group LE SSERAFIM has postponed the release of her new song due to the tragic airplane accident involving Jeju Air. Her agency, Source Music, announced on December 30 that the release of her self-composed track 'Jellyfish,' originally scheduled for 6 PM, has been delayed in light of the unfortunate incident. The agency expressed their condolences, stating, 'We ask for the understanding of our fans who have been waiting. We extend our deepest sympathies to the victims of the airplane accident and offer our heartfelt condolences to the grieving families.'
The accident occurred on the morning of December 29, when Jeju Air flight 7C2216, arriving from Bangkok, crashed into the runway's outer wall at Muan International Airport in Jeollanam-do. Out of the 181 passengers on board, 179 lost their lives, and 2 were injured. In response to this tragedy, the government has declared a national mourning period lasting until January 4, 2025.
