LE SSERAFIM Takes Legal Action Against Defamation and Harassment

On December 27, Source Music announced the ongoing legal actions against individuals spreading false information, defamation, insults, and sexual harassment directed at the girl group LE SSERAFIM. The agency stated, "To protect LE SSERAFIM's rights, we regularly file lawsuits against those who create malicious posts and comments each year." In the latter half of this year, they collected evidence from various online platforms, including 일간베스트, 네이트판, 더쿠, 인스티즈, 에펨코리아, 멜론, 지니뮤직, 디시인사이드, Instagram, and YouTube, and submitted complaints to law enforcement.
Source Music also provided an update on the large-scale lawsuit initiated in May, revealing that most of the defendants have been identified and their cases have been forwarded to the appropriate police stations. This includes posts and comments from both domestic platforms and international ones like Instagram and YouTube, with legal proceedings currently underway.
The agency emphasized their commitment to ensuring that those responsible for spreading false information and defamatory content about LE SSERAFIM will face consequences, regardless of how long the legal process may take. They urged fans to report any violations of the group's rights through HYBE's artist rights infringement reporting system, highlighting that fan support is crucial in protecting the artists' rights.
Source Music reiterated their determination to take strong legal action against anyone infringing on LE SSERAFIM's rights in the future.
