LE SSERAFIM Achieves Fifth Platinum Certification from Japan's Record Association

K-pop group LE SSERAFIM (르세라핌) has demonstrated their impressive streaming power in Japan. On November 27, the Japan Record Association announced that the track 'Eve, Psyche, and the Bluebeard's Wife' from their first studio album has surpassed 100 million streams as of October, earning a 'Platinum' certification in the streaming category.

The Japan Record Association categorizes certifications based on cumulative streaming counts, awarding 'Gold' for over 50 million streams, 'Platinum' for over 100 million, and 'Diamond' for over 500 million, with updates provided monthly.

With this latest achievement, LE SSERAFIM now boasts a total of five 'Platinum' certified songs, following 'FEARLESS' (August 2023), 'ANTIFRAGILE' (May 2023), 'UNFORGIVEN (feat. Nile Rodgers)' (April 2024), and 'Perfect Night' (April 2024).

As the year-end season approaches, LE SSERAFIM is shining brightly in Japan. They made history by becoming the first K-pop girl group to win the Special International Music Award at the 66th Japan Record Awards. Additionally, they are set to perform on the renowned year-end special program, '2024 FNS Music Festival' on Fuji TV, scheduled for December 11. They will also take the stage at NHK's '75th Kohaku Uta Gassen' for the third consecutive year on December 31, a show known for its high ratings and popularity.

LE SSERAFIM will release their third Japanese single, 'CRAZY,' on December 11. The pre-released track 'Star Signs,' which debuted on November 13, has already made it to the top 5 of real-time charts on LINE MUSIC and AWA, and has been selected as the theme song for LUMINE's year-end campaign, receiving significant acclaim.
