Kyuhyun's Departure from SM Mentioned on '출장 십오야' Amid 30th Anniversary Celebrations

On November 29, the tvN variety show '출장 십오야' celebrated the 30th anniversary of SM Entertainment, featuring ten iconic artists from the agency. The lineup included H.O.T.'s Kangta, TVXQ's Changmin, Super Junior's Leeteuk, Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon, SHINee's Key, EXO's Suho, Red Velvet's Seulgi, NCT's Doyoung, aespa's Karina, and RIZE's Wonbin, who shared their years of service and debut dates.

Seulgi surprised everyone by revealing she has been with the company for 18 years and debuted 11 years ago, prompting gasps from her seniors. As the years of experience increased, the impressive careers of the artists became evident. Suho mentioned he has been with SM for 20 years and debuted 13 years ago, while Key shared he has been with the company for 19 years and debuted 17 years ago.

Hyoyeon noted her 25 years with the company and 18 years since debut, which astonished producer Na Young-seok, who remarked on the surprising job stability in the idol industry. Leeteuk also mentioned he has been with SM for 25 years, debuting 20 years ago, making him a peer of Hyoyeon. Changmin shared that he has been with the company for 23 years and debuted 22 years ago, explaining that he joined later than Leeteuk and Hyoyeon but debuted first.

Key then brought up Kyuhyun, who joined later but became part of Super Junior, referring to his recent move to Antenna. Changmin humorously responded, "Don't talk about him. He's with Antenna now," eliciting laughter from the group.

The eldest member, Kangta, shared that he has been with SM for 30 years and debuted 29 years ago, jokingly asking, "Please take care of me." He explained that as an 18-year-old high school student, it was unusual for him to be on television, implying he wanted to be treated like a child. Doyoung from NCT added, "You debuted when I was born," which surprised everyone.

The first game of the episode featured a music quiz where teams competed for a premium liquor prize. Karina led 'Team SM,' while Wonbin captained 'Team Sme.' Key showcased his skills honed from 'Amazing Saturday,' and despite a best-of-five format, 'Team Sme' won the premium liquor.

During a break, Hyoyeon expressed concern for the busy Karina, asking if she had eaten, to which Karina replied she hadn’t. Hyoyeon lamented that Karina had no time to eat due to her tight schedule after filming '출장 십오야.' Suho also checked in, and Karina shared that she often skips meals while working, which Hyoyeon empathized with.

Next, a group quiz for a barbecue set ensued. Producer Na Young-seok mentioned Hyoyeon's past mistakes in similar quizzes, but she confidently stated she had been watching more dramas and TV lately. However, she humorously exclaimed "Weird" when faced with a question about actor Choi Min-sik.

Key faced criticism for failing to identify legendary singer Lee Moon-sae, later apologizing, but Leeteuk pointed out the shock of Key's mistake. Key tried to explain but was teased by Leeteuk for his skewed knowledge.

The youngest member, Wonbin, also struggled with a question about actor Jo Seung-woo, mistakenly calling him Kim Soo-ji, which made everyone laugh. Hyoyeon remarked that Kim Soo-ji would fit well, and Na Young-seok teased that Eun-ji from RIZE is a big fan of Jo Seung-woo. Fortunately, Karina correctly identified Park Na-rae, wrapping up the quiz and leading to a barbecue party.
