Kyuhyun Reflects on His Career After 'At Gwanghwamun' Release

Kyuhyun of Super Junior shared his thoughts on his career during a listening party for his first full-length album, 'COLORS', held on November 27 at CGV Cheongdam Cine City in Gangnam, Seoul. He revealed that after the release of 'At Gwanghwamun', he contemplated stepping back from his singing career.
This album marks Kyuhyun's first regular release since his solo debut with 'At Gwanghwamun' in 2014. As he approaches the 20th anniversary of Super Junior's debut next year and celebrates his 10th anniversary as a solo artist this year, Kyuhyun expressed, "Next year will bring a lot of emotions regarding Super Junior's 20th anniversary."
Reflecting on his solo debut, he mentioned, "I often find myself reminiscing about the past. Originally, 'At Gwanghwamun' was an album that almost didn’t get released. There were concerns that it might not be strong enough to serve as a title track. I had many worries at that time, and I even thought that this album might be my last as a singer. However, now that I’ve reached my 10th anniversary, I feel deeply moved by that journey. I am grateful to the SM Entertainment staff who allowed the album to be released despite my concerns. I believe that my 10th anniversary is largely thanks to SM." He concluded with a smile, expressing that he is doing well now.
