Kyeongin University Launches Caregiver Training Program for International Students

Kyeongin University (경인여대) has announced the establishment of a new degree program aimed at training international students to become caregivers. The program recently commenced with five students from Mongolia who have enrolled. Over the next two years, these students will receive both theoretical and practical training to obtain a national caregiver certification, along with job-related Korean language education. This initiative marks the first of its kind in South Korea for foreign students. One of the students, 19-year-old Mungunzhiguur Khanna (뭉군지구르 한나), shared that she decided to study at Kyeongin University after attending an information session held in Mongolia, expressing her desire to earn a caregiver certification and settle in Korea. Kyeongin University is committed to actively recruiting international students interested in pursuing a career as caregivers. President Yuk Dong-in (육동인) emphasized the university's dedication to supporting these students in becoming professionals who contribute to Korean society, beyond merely obtaining a degree.
