Kwon Sang-woo Returns for 'Hitman 2' After Five Years
On December 27, 2024, a production briefing for the film 'Hitman 2' took place at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall, featuring director Choi Won-seob and cast members Kwon Sang-woo, Jung Joon-ho, Lee Yi-kyung, Hwang Woo-seul-hye, and Kim Sung-oh. Kwon Sang-woo expressed his excitement about returning to the franchise after five years, stating, "It's not easy to have a series, and I feel honored to be here to greet everyone." He emphasized the importance of unity among the cast, saying, "Returning for a sequel is challenging unless all the actors share the same passion for the film. I believe our enthusiasm, especially inspired by senior Jung Joon-ho, made this possible."
Kwon also praised Kim Sung-oh for his strong presence in the film, noting that despite the short filming period, they managed to shoot efficiently. He reflected on the significance of 'Hitman 2', saying, "Having this event before the release is a fresh experience for me. I've worked on many projects, but 'Hitman 2' holds a special meaning."
In a light-hearted moment, Jung Joon-ho humorously remarked, "If the filming took longer, it’s probably because I’m the one talking too much. I hope everyone keeps it brief!"
