Kwon Sang-woo Discusses His Family Life with Son Tae-young

On December 27, a production briefing for the film 'Hitman 2' took place at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall, featuring director Choi Won-seop and cast members Kwon Sang-woo, Jung Joon-ho, Lee Yi-kyung, Hwang Woo-seul-hye, and Kim Sung-oh.

'Hitman 2' is a comedic action film that follows the story of 'Jun,' a once-successful webtoon writer who faces a sudden downfall and becomes embroiled in a series of comedic events after a terrorist imitates his new work. The film is a sequel to the 2020 hit 'Hitman,' which was well-received and ranked among the top four films of that year.

During the event, Kwon Sang-woo reflected on his role as a husband, stating, "Looking back at my acting career, I realized I was a bachelor for only seven years. I've been married and acting for 16 years now. I might be more accustomed to being a married actor, and I've accepted that for a long time."

He added, "As an actor, I can't behave like one at home. I try not to be authoritative and don’t divide tasks into what the wife should do and what the husband should do. I do what I can and try to be considerate. I also follow instructions well," he joked.

Kwon Sang-woo noted the similarities between himself and his character Jun, saying, "In a way, I live a life very similar to Jun's. To keep a household running smoothly, you need to listen to your wife. I also find myself being mindful of my wife's feelings, which is something that is humorously portrayed in 'Hitman.'"

'Hitman 2' is set to hit theaters on January 22, 2024.
