K-POP Legends H.O.T. to Headline HANTEO Music Festival After Six Years

The legendary K-POP group H.O.T. is making a highly anticipated return after six years. On July 23, HANTEO Global officially announced that H.O.T. will be the headliner for the inaugural HANTEO Music Festival, set to take place on September 6 and 7 at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.

According to HANTEO Global, H.O.T. will deliver a performance lasting over 60 minutes, showcasing a full concert experience. This marks their first complete performance since 2019, and it holds special significance as they approach their 30th debut anniversary. Notably, September 7 will also celebrate their 29th anniversary, making the event even more meaningful.

The HANTEO Music Festival, which is being held for the first time this year, is expected to be a historic event. The festival will feature special stages from K-POP artists spanning from the first generation to the fifth generation, highlighting the evolution of Korean music. By choosing H.O.T., a group that symbolizes the origins of K-POP, as the headliner, the festival aims to emphasize its cultural importance.

This collaboration is built on a foundation of trust. HANTEO Global has been a cornerstone of the Korean music industry for 33 years, known for its real-time music chart, the HANTEO Chart, which has grown alongside the K-POP industry.

There is a growing excitement about the synergy between H.O.T. and HANTEO Global, with analysts predicting a significant impact on the cultural industry beyond just K-POP.

The organizers stated, "This festival will mark a significant moment in K-POP history," and they plan to announce additional artists who will perform at the festival in the coming weeks.
