Koyote's Shinji to Marry Ballad Singer Moon Won in 2026

Shinji (신지), the main vocalist of the mixed group Koyote (코요태), is set to marry 7 years younger ballad singer Moon Won (문원) in the first half of 2026. On June 23, Shinji's agency, KYT Entertainment, along with JG Star, confirmed the news, stating, "Shinji is scheduled to marry singer Moon Won next year, and they are currently in the midst of wedding photoshoots today."

The couple reportedly met while Shinji was working as a DJ on MBC's radio show 'Single Bungle Show' (싱글벙글쇼) and their relationship blossomed from there. Although they have ample time to prepare for their wedding, they are rushing the photoshoot due to a busy schedule for the remainder of the year.

Additionally, the pair will release a duet titled 'Shalaka Dula' (샬라카둘라) on June 26. This love song is inspired by a spell from Disney's animated classic Cinderella and is expected to become their official couple song.

Earlier this year, Koyote's leader Kim Jong-min (김종민) also made headlines by marrying someone 11 years younger, making this a double celebration for the group.

Shinji debuted with Koyote in December 1998, leaving a significant mark on the music industry with numerous hits such as 'Pure Love' (순정), 'Heartbreak' (실연), 'Blue' (파란), and 'Fashion' (패션). She has also showcased her acting skills in the sitcom 'High Kick!' (거침없이 하이킥) and has been active in various entertainment programs. Moon Won debuted in 2012 and has been involved in the indie scene and audition variety shows.
