Koyote's Shinji Receives Support from Baekga Amid Controversy Surrounding Her Fiancé

Shinji (신지) of the K-pop group Koyote (코요태) is currently facing personal controversy involving her fiancé, Moon Won (문원). In light of this, her bandmate Baekga (빽가) has publicly expressed his unwavering support for her. On July 3, Baekga shared a photo on social media featuring himself, Shinji, and fellow member Kim Jong-min (김종민), all wearing matching black hoodies and making playful faces. Alongside the image, he included a blue heart emoji.

Additionally, Baekga quoted lyrics from Lee Seung-hwan's (이승환) song 'Family,' which reads, "We must be together forever. I love you. Thank you, everyone, for the love that has protected me until now." Many netizens interpreted this as a message of encouragement for Shinji, who is facing scrutiny ahead of her wedding.

Previously, Moon Won revealed on Shinji's YouTube channel, 'How Are You?' (어떠신지), that he is a single father. Following this announcement, rumors surfaced online regarding his involvement in illegal real estate dealings, school bullying, military harassment, and infidelity prior to his first marriage.

In response to these allegations, Moon Won admitted to having worked in real estate without a proper license, stating, "It is true that I engaged in real estate transactions without a certified broker's license. I started this out of necessity during my early career, but I acknowledge that it was a mistake to operate without proper certification."

He also clarified that while he did marry his ex-wife due to a premarital pregnancy, the claims of infidelity during that time are false. Moon Won denied the allegations of military harassment and expressed his willingness to provide objective evidence to refute these claims.

Shinji and Moon Won are set to marry in the first half of next year in Seoul. They recently completed their wedding photoshoot and released a duet titled 'Shallakadoola' (샬라카둘라) on June 26.
