Koyote's Shinji and Moon Won Reveal Past Marriages Ahead of Their Wedding

Shinji (신지), a member of the mixed group Koyote (코요태), and her fiancé Moon Won (문원), have disclosed that this is not their first marriage. In a recent video shared on her YouTube channel, Shinji, 44, and 37-year-old Moon Won, whose real name is Park Sang-moon (박상문), were seen having a meal with fellow Koyote members Kim Jong-min (김종민) and Baekga (빽가) as part of their family introduction.

During the gathering, Moon Won revealed, "You might be surprised, but I was previously married and have a lovely daughter. My ex-wife is raising her, but we communicate and make efforts for our child together." He added that as their relationship deepened, he felt it was important to be honest with Shinji about his past.

Shinji expressed her understanding of Moon Won's struggles, stating, "I can imagine how difficult it must have been for him. I thought it would be disappointing for our friends to find out through someone else, so we decided to share this ourselves."

She praised Moon Won's sense of responsibility, saying, "I admire how he cares for his child and takes responsibility. It made me realize he could show that same side to me."

Baekga supported the couple, saying, "As long as you two are happy, that’s what matters to me. I think this kind of openness is great." Kim Jong-min echoed this sentiment, wishing them happiness and encouraging them to focus on each other.

Shinji expressed relief at finally sharing their story, noting that she had intended to inform her bandmates before the announcement but was glad they were supportive. The couple plans to tie the knot in the first half of next year in Seoul and has already completed their wedding photoshoot.
