When asked by Kim Hee-chul if he had ever fought with his girlfriend, Kim admitted, 'I fight a lot, mostly sulking. When we reconcile, I hug her,' confirming that he has been dating for over two years.

Kim Hee-chul described Kim's girlfriend as 'very intelligent and elegant,' noting that Kim Jong-min seems like a baby in comparison. Kim shared that they have been together for two years and that his girlfriend, who is 11 years younger, treats him affectionately.

In a previous appearance on KBS 2TV's '1 Night 2 Days,' Kim described his girlfriend, saying, 'She is about 162 cm tall, has long hair, and has a pure style.' He expressed pride in his relationship, even discussing marriage plans during an appearance on Solbi's YouTube channel, where he mentioned wanting to get married next year.

However, he had not yet met their parents. In October, on SBS's 'My Little Old Boy,' he mentioned, 'We've been dating for over two years, but I haven't introduced her to my parents yet,' showing a cautious approach to their relationship.

At 45 years old, Kim Jong-min's announcement has garnered significant attention, especially since he had previously stated he hadn't met his girlfriend's parents.
