Korean Flight Attendant Sentenced for Secretly Filming Colleague in Singapore
A 37-year-old Korean flight attendant, identified as A, has been sentenced to four weeks in prison by a Singaporean court for secretly filming a female colleague. The incident occurred on April 27, when A arrived in Singapore and allegedly installed a hidden camera in the bathroom of the victim's hotel room. The victim had invited A and other crew members to her room for a meal. After A entered the bathroom and concealed the camera with a towel, the victim discovered the device when she picked up the towel to dry her hands. She promptly reported the incident to hotel staff, leading to A being identified as the perpetrator during the investigation. Although A was allowed to return to Korea the following day, he was arrested upon returning to Singapore on May 16 in response to a police summons. The local prosecutor stated that the victim had viewed A as a mentor and had trusted him, emphasizing the severe emotional distress she experienced due to his actions.
