KM Chart Reveals Nominees for 2025 Season Best Spring Awards
The KM Chart, a global standard for K-pop rankings, has announced the nominees for the '2025 KM Chart Season Best Spring' awards, set to recognize the most popular artists and songs from the first quarter of 2025 (January to March). Voting for the seven categories will be open until April 14.
The 'Season Best Spring' awards will honor the artists and tracks that gained the most popularity during this period. This year, the KM Chart has added a special category, 'BEST SOLO,' bringing the total to seven award categories. The nominee list features a star-studded lineup, including G-Dragon, BTS (방탄소년단), Young Tak (영탁), and Lim Young Woong (임영웅), promising an exciting voting atmosphere.
In the 'BEST K-MUSIC' category, nominees include G-Dragon's tracks 'HOME SWEET HOME (홈 스위트 홈)', 'POWER (파워)', and 'TOO BAD (투 배드)', along with Baby Monster's 'DRIP (드립)', Boy Next Door's '오늘만 I LOVE YOU (오늘만 아이 러브 유)', BSS's '청바지', V's (뷔) 'Slow Dancing (슬로우 댄싱)', Young Tak's '슈퍼슈퍼 (SuperSuper)', Lee Chan Won's '하늘 여행', and Lim Young Woong's '온기', totaling 20 nominated songs.
The 'BEST K-MUSIC ARTIST' category features 15 nominees, including V (뷔), Jennie and Rosé (제니·로제) from BLACKPINK, BSS, IVE, aespa, P1Harmony, ZEROBASEONE, and Tomorrow X Together (투모로우바이투게더).
In the 'BEST HOT CHOICE' category, the male nominees include WOODZ, B.A.P, Kang Daniel, MONSTA X, ENHYPEN, and Jang Min Ho, while the female nominees feature Dreamcatcher, LE SSERAFIM, Minnie ((여자)아이들), Bebe (브브걸), Secret Number, NMIXX, and fromis_9, totaling 29 nominees across both genders.
For the 'BEST ROOKIE' category, the male nominees include NEX7, RISE, Boy Next Door, SODIAC, ENHYPEN, EVEN, and TOURS, while the female nominees consist of Baby Monster, BLACKSWAN, Billlie, UNIS, IZN, KISS OF LIFE, Kiki, and HATSUTOHATS, totaling 15 rookie groups.
The special 'BEST SOLO' category showcases impressive solo artists, with nominees including Minnie and Wookie from (여자)아이들, J-Hope (제이홉) from BTS, Baekhyun and Xiumin (백현·시우민) from EXO, Lisa, Jennie, and Jisoo (리사·제니·지수) from BLACKPINK, Yeji (예지) from ITZY, Ten (텐) from NCT, Suzy, Kwon Eun Bi, and Chung Ha, totaling 20 nominees.
Voting for the '2025 Season Best Spring' awards can be done through the 'My One Pick' and 'Idol Champ' applications until April 14. The results will be calculated based on a 50% weight from each app.
The awards will be determined by a combination of KM Chart data scores, evaluations from a panel of experts, and the results of the preference survey, ensuring an objective assessment. Artists who win in their respective categories will automatically be nominated for the 'Universal Golden Best' at the '2026 Universal Superstar Awards (2026 USA)'.
