King of Kings Set for Theatrical Release on July 16 with New Trailer and Poster

The highly anticipated film 'King of Kings' is officially set to hit theaters on July 16, following its record-breaking success as the highest-grossing Korean film in North America, achieved through pure domestic technology and investment. The film, a global hit K-animation, tells the story of renowned British author Charles Dickens embarking on a journey 2,000 years into the past with his youngest son, Walter.
The newly released main poster teases audiences with a glimpse of the extraordinary adventure that awaits. Centered around the Dickens family, the poster features iconic figures such as Jesus, his disciples, King Herod, and the High Priest, creating an intriguing atmosphere. The image of Jesus with open arms, symbolizing love and forgiveness, is accompanied by the tagline "The Greatest Story in the World," heightening expectations for the film's powerful narrative.
The accompanying main trailer vividly captures the film's emotional storyline and stunning visuals. In the trailer, Charles Dickens shares tales of the King of Kings with his son Walter, who is initially uninterested in royal stories. Their time travel leads them to witness significant events such as the birth of Jesus, his trials in the wilderness, encounters with his disciples, and the miracle of walking on water. However, as the trailer reveals, Jesus becomes a figure of threat for some, leading to a dramatic turn of events.
The journey through miracles and crises raises questions about the transformations that the Dickens duo will undergo. Additionally, the trailer features the North American theme song 'Live Like That,' composed by country music legends Kellie Collins and Tim Nichols, along with rising star Matt Wynn, and produced by Grammy winner Keith Thomas. Broadway star Christine Chenoweth lends her powerful voice to the track, further amplifying excitement for the film.
'King of Kings' marks a grand return of a global blockbuster to its home country, with both subtitled and dubbed versions featuring voice performances from Kenneth Branagh, Oscar Isaac, Uma Thurman, Lee Byung-hun, Jin Seon-kyu, and Lee Ha-nee, all set to be released simultaneously in theaters nationwide on July 16.
