명기를 궁극적인 악당으로 평가하는 것에 동의하는지 묻자, 그는 "촬영할 때는 동의하지 않았다. 진정한 악은 타노스나 남규 같은 캐릭터로 표현된다고 생각했다. 감독의 지침을 따르는 것이 혼란스러웠다. 하지만 최종 결과물을 보니 사람들이 명기를 특히 혐오스럽게 느낄 수 있는 이유를 알겠다"고 답했다.
