Kim Yong-bin Talks About Mister Trot 3 Prize on 'Chef Heo Young-man's Dining Journey'

On the May 18 episode of TV Chosun's 'Chef Heo Young-man's Dining Journey', Kim Yong-bin, the winner of 'Mister Trot 3', along with fellow contestant Son Bin-ah, visited their hometowns of Daegu and Hadong. The trio stopped by a local restaurant that Son Bin-ah has frequented for the past decade. Heo Young-man humorously remarked, 'I’m not feeling great today. When I come alone, there are hardly any people. But with you two here, the place is packed. Maybe I should become a singer too!' This light-hearted comment brought laughter to the group.

About a month has passed since the conclusion of 'Mister Trot 3'. Son Bin-ah shared, 'In the past, people wouldn’t recognize me at restaurants. Nowadays, even when I go to a café in the neighborhood, people come up to take photos. I enjoy sneaking out sometimes.'

Heo Young-man also commented on the prize distribution, noting that while the first-place winner received 300 million KRW, the second-place prize included cosmetics, a massage device, and shoes. He jokingly said, 'That’s too much! At least give the second place half of what the first place gets, or even a third!' Hearing this, Kim Yong-bin appeared visibly uncomfortable. Son Bin-ah then playfully suggested, 'Then Yong-bin, you should give me some of your prize!' which elicited more laughter from the group.
