On January 27, during the broadcast of TV CHOSUN's '조선의 사랑꾼' (Lovers of Joseon), Kim Tae-won connected with his future son-in-law through a video call, sharing the exciting news of his daughter Seo-hyun's upcoming marriage. Kim Tae-won mentioned, "My wife and I live together, while our daughter Seo-hyun is in the United States." He expressed a strong feeling that his daughter was about to get married.

Despite his desire to visit the U.S. to meet his daughter and her fiancé, Kim Tae-won revealed that he was unable to obtain a visa due to a marijuana-related conviction from 40 years ago. He humorously referred to his daughter's boyfriend as 'De-nida,' only to discover that his name is actually Devin, which elicited laughter from those present. Additionally, while Kim Tae-won initially stated that his daughter lived near New York, it was later confirmed that she resides in the city itself, adding to the amusement.

The production team surprised everyone by traveling to the U.S. to facilitate the video call meeting between Kim Tae-won and his future son-in-law.
