Kim Tae-ri's Hilarious Blunder at the 2024 SBS Drama Awards

On December 21, 2024, actress Kim Tae-ri brought laughter to the 2024 SBS Drama Awards held at the SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Seoul. The event was hosted by Shin Dong-yup, Kim Hye-yoon, and Kim Ji-yeon (Bona).

As the ceremony approached the highly anticipated Grand Prize announcement, actors Lee Je-hoon and Kim Tae-ri took the stage as presenters. Lee Je-hoon began by stating, "The SBS dramas of 2024 have received particularly warm love this year, following last year's success."

In response, Kim Tae-ri mistakenly started to say, "That's right. This year, MBC..." before realizing her error and looking visibly flustered. Lee Je-hoon quickly corrected her, saying, "SBS, right?" Kim Tae-ri apologized, saying, "I’m so sorry, I’m just really nervous," as she fumbled through her words.

The audience erupted in laughter, and even stars like Jang Nara and Nam Ji-hyun, who were shown on screen, couldn't contain their amusement. Lee Je-hoon calmly reassured everyone, saying, "It’s okay. This is the charm of live broadcasting."

Continuing with the presentation, Kim Tae-ri expressed, "I think the SBS dramas this year have been truly remarkable. There have been so many well-made dramas in terms of story, direction, and acting," which was met with enthusiastic applause from the audience.
