Kim Soo-hyun's Controversy Deepens as Sulli's Brother Accuses Him of Silencing Tactics

On March 30, 2025, A, the brother of the late Sulli, took to social media to express his frustration over actor Kim Soo-hyun's alleged attempts to silence him regarding the controversial bed scene in the film 'Real'. A's post criticized Kim, stating, "Is it fun to talk to my mom instead of me? After 48 hours, your big idea is to silence me through her? That's pathetic."
This outburst comes in the wake of allegations surrounding Kim Soo-hyun's relationship with the late Kim Sae-ron, which has sparked discussions about grooming and other serious accusations. A's posts have included veiled threats and pointed remarks, such as, "Kim has a lot to say but can't. Hold on tight; you're going to fall from a high place," and he lamented the lack of support from fans, questioning their loyalty and ability to check facts.
He also made statements that seemed directed at Kim Soo-hyun, saying, "My life, your life, everyone's life is 'real'." He further expressed his pain over losing his sister six years ago, hinting at the ongoing emotional turmoil.
On March 28, A released a statement through a media outlet, demanding explanations from Kim Soo-hyun and director Lee Sa-rang regarding the circumstances of Sulli's bed scene in 'Real'. He highlighted that the script did not specify the scene with Kim Soo-hyun, and although a body double was present, Sulli was persuaded to perform the scene without one.
Following the release of this statement, A urged Kim Soo-hyun's team for a prompt response, emphasizing that he wanted answers that addressed his concerns rather than vague statements. However, just two days later, he posted again, reiterating his frustration about not being able to communicate directly with Kim.
Netizens have criticized Kim Soo-hyun's team for allegedly attempting to silence Sulli's family instead of providing a public clarification regarding the bed scene allegations.
In related news, Lee Jeong-seob, the former director of 'Real', has also been vocal on social media, continuing to criticize Kim Soo-hyun. He distanced himself from the film's negative reputation, asserting that he bears no responsibility for its failure. He also clarified his limited involvement in the casting process, stating that he was not present during the auditions despite having selected one of the final actors, Han Ji-eun, at that time.
