Kim Soo-hyun's Agency Files Additional Complaint Against YouTube Channel Operator

On March 24, 2025, Kim Soo-hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, announced that they have filed an additional complaint against Kim Se-yeol, the operator of the YouTube channel 가로세로연구소 (Garoseoro Research Institute), for alleged criminal threats. The agency stated that the claims made by the channel regarding a video do not exist.

Previously, Gold Medalist had reported the channel for violating laws related to sexual violence crimes after it aired a photo of Kim Soo-hyun washing dishes in a state of partial undress at the home of the late Kim Sae-ron.

Gold Medalist emphasized that on March 21, 2025, just a day after the initial complaint, the channel re-broadcast the controversial photo during a live stream, which they described as an unimaginable act that disregards the law and investigative authorities.

Furthermore, the agency accused the channel of threatening Kim Soo-hyun by stating that if Disney+ did not cancel the release of the original drama 넉오프 (Nok Off), they would release footage of Kim Soo-hyun. They also claimed that the channel repeatedly referenced the 'N번방' (Nth Room) case, insinuating that Kim Soo-hyun had committed similar crimes and that there was footage of such acts.

Gold Medalist firmly denied these allegations, asserting that the claims made by the channel are entirely false and that no such video exists. They reiterated that the actions of the channel constitute serious criminal behavior, prompting them to take swift legal action.

In a related matter, the family of Kim Sae-ron has alleged through the channel that Kim Soo-hyun was in a relationship with her from November 2015, when she was a minor, for six years. Kim Soo-hyun's side has refuted this, stating that they only dated for about a year after she became an adult. Amidst this ongoing dispute, the channel has claimed to possess evidence that could escalate the situation further, stating that Kim Soo-hyun's actions surpass those of the Nth Room case.
