Kim Soo-hyun's Agency Denies Allegations of Relationship with Late Kim Sae-ron

The agency representing actor Kim Soo-hyun has firmly denied allegations made by a YouTuber claiming that he was in a romantic relationship with the late Kim Sae-ron since she was a minor for six years. The agency labeled these claims as "false information" and announced plans for legal action. Meanwhile, filming for Kim Soo-hyun's upcoming Disney+ original series, Nock Off, is reportedly proceeding as scheduled.

On March 12, a representative from Nock Off confirmed to Chosun.com that the filming for Season 2 is on track. However, regarding reports of a press conference for Season 1 next month, they stated, "No schedule has been finalized yet. We will provide updates once decisions are made."

Nock Off tells the story of a man whose life is turned upside down by the IMF crisis, transforming from an ordinary office worker into a kingpin in the counterfeit market. Kim Soo-hyun stars alongside Kim Ji-won, with both seasons set to be released in the first and second halves of this year.

Previously, on March 10, the YouTube channel Garo Sero Research Institute aired an interview with Kim Sae-ron's aunt, alleging that Kim Sae-ron and Kim Soo-hyun were in a relationship during her teenage years. In response, Goldmedalist, Kim Soo-hyun's agency, issued a statement condemning the claims as malicious and unfounded, asserting that they would pursue the strongest legal measures against the spread of false information.

The agency further stated, "Such dissemination of falsehoods mirrors the behavior of so-called 'cyber bullies' that the late Kim Sae-ron struggled with during her life, and it not only harms our agency but also tarnishes her reputation. We will respond rigorously to this."

Despite the agency's legal stance, controversy continues to swirl. Recently, viewers on the MBC variety show Good Day have called for Kim Soo-hyun's departure from the program. Additionally, some fans have begun sharing lists of brands he endorses, indicating a potential boycott movement.
