Kim Soo-hyun Minimizes Appearance on 'Good Day' Amid Controversy

Actor Kim Soo-hyun will appear on the MBC variety show 'Good Day' (굿데이) with a reduced schedule. On March 13, representatives from the show confirmed to OSEN that Kim's participation was adjusted to minimize his planned appearance. The filming that afternoon was set to feature key cast members, including G-Dragon and Kim Soo-hyun. Initially, there was uncertainty regarding Kim's attendance due to public backlash surrounding his alleged relationship with the late actress Kim Sae-ron during her teenage years. The 'Good Day' team had previously stated they were 'confirming' Kim's attendance. However, it was later reported that Kim did attend the recording, albeit with a minimized schedule after discussions. Recently, Kim Soo-hyun has faced allegations from the YouTube channel '가로세로연구소' and Kim Sae-ron's family, claiming he was in a six-year relationship with her starting when she was in the third year of middle school at age 15. Nevertheless, his agency, Gold Medalist, has denied these allegations, labeling them as defamatory and has announced plans for a strong legal response along with an official statement next week.
