Kim Seung-soo Opens Up About His Feelings for Yang Jung-a on 'My Little Old Boy'

In the latest episode of SBS's 'My Little Old Boy' (미운우리 새끼), Kim Seung-soo candidly shared his feelings for Yang Jung-a. During the broadcast on December 15, he expressed his desire to confess his feelings, inviting his friend Son Ji-chang over for advice. Son Ji-chang was surprised by the unexpected call, stating, 'I didn't expect you to talk about this.'

Kim Seung-soo began by saying, 'I wanted to ask you for your thoughts. I've been thinking about whether to muster the courage to ask her out.' He revealed that his feelings for Yang Jung-a have evolved, preferring to spend time alone with her rather than in a group setting. He hinted at wanting to take their relationship to a more serious level, saying, 'I’m considering asking Jung-a to meet up.'

Curious about what he finds appealing about Yang Jung-a, Son Ji-chang asked, 'What do you like about her?' Kim Seung-soo responded, 'Even though we are the same age, she has a childlike quality that makes me feel protective of her. When she's in a good mood, she shows cute behaviors that make me want to take care of her.' He noted that these moments have deepened his feelings, recalling their first date in Hongdae and a recent double date.

He admitted, 'I’ve been thinking about this for a while, and I decided that even if I face embarrassment, I want to confess my feelings.' When Son Ji-chang pressed him on whether he sees her as just a friend, Kim Seung-soo confirmed, 'Yes, I’m going to gather my courage and tell her.'

However, Son Ji-chang expressed concern, saying, 'If you confess and things don’t work out, you might not be able to stay friends.' Kim Seung-soo acknowledged the risk, admitting, 'I’m scared of losing a long-time friend. I’ve been thinking about this a lot, even lying down for hours just contemplating.' He reflected on the significant differences between being friends and being in a romantic relationship, indicating his cautious approach to the situation.
