Kim Seung-hyun and Jang Jeong-yoon Resolve Conflict with Their Eldest Daughter

On February 16, the YouTube channel ‘광산김씨패밀리’ released a new video titled ‘리윤아 누가 왔어?’ featuring Kim Seung-hyun and his family. In the video, Kim Seung-hyun welcomed his daughter Subin to his home, cooking 떡국 (rice cake soup) for her. Jang Jeong-yoon, a writer, inquired about Subin's life since moving out. She encouraged Subin to chat with her younger sister, Ri-yoon, who appeared in the video. Subin, noticing Ri-yoon's flushed face, expressed concern, asking, “Why is your face so red? Are you feeling okay?”

Jang then asked Subin how she was managing in her new place, highlighting the financial challenges of living independently. Subin agreed, saying, “Just breathing costs money. I feel like money disappears the moment I close my eyes.” Jang shared her own experiences, recalling how high heating bills forced her to turn off the boiler and rely on electric blankets during her own time living alone.

When Kim Seung-hyun asked for tips on living independently, Jang advised that she often ate at the broadcasting station where she worked to save money, which inadvertently helped her lose weight. Subin humorously remarked, “This is getting serious,” lightening the mood.

Subin also discussed the financial burden of makeup products, explaining that they often run out simultaneously, leading to unexpected expenses. Jang reassured her, saying that living with parents teaches valuable financial habits. Kim Seung-hyun chimed in, humorously channeling Ri-yoon, saying, “Sister, being at home is just more comfortable.” Jang added that Kim likes to stock up on essentials, jokingly suggesting that the girls could sneak some away.

Kim Seung-hyun, who raised Subin as a single father, married writer Jang Jeong-yoon in 2020. They welcomed their second daughter last August, and have previously shared on TV Chosun’s ‘조선의 사랑꾼’ about the misunderstandings that arose after the birth of their second child, which led to conflicts with Subin.
