Kim Sae-ron's Family to Conduct Digital Forensics on Photos with Kim Soo-hyun

The family of the late actress 김새론 (Kim Sae-ron) has decided to carry out digital forensics to recover photographs that could substantiate her past relationship with actor 김수현 (Kim Soo-hyun) during her teenage years. According to reports from 한경닷컴 on March 18, the family expressed disappointment after reviewing a statement from Kim Soo-hyun's agency, 골드메달리스트 (Gold Medalist), stating that they had hoped for an apology. Previously, Gold Medalist released a statement denying allegations that Kim Soo-hyun had paid 700 million KRW in penalties related to Kim Sae-ron's drunk driving incident and that Kim Sae-ron had sent two legal notices demanding payment after her contract with the agency expired. The agency clarified that they worked together with Kim Sae-ron to address the damages from the drunk driving incident, successfully reducing the remaining compensation amount to approximately 700 million KRW. They also mentioned that due to Kim Sae-ron's difficulties in continuing her career, they processed the debt as a loss in December 2023. Furthermore, they emphasized that the second legal notice was merely a notification regarding legal procedures and discussions about repayment methods and schedules. The agency also refuted claims that Kim Sae-ron was prohibited from contacting other actors in the agency, stating that it is not feasible to claim damages simply for posting photos on social media or contacting fellow actors.
