Kim Na-young Shares Parenting Insights on 'Home Alone'

In the latest episode of MBC's variety show 'Home Alone' (구해줘 홈즈), aired on December 19, Kim Na-young opened up about her experiences raising her two children. The episode featured a family seeking to purchase a standalone house in Paju, valued at around 600 million KRW, as they embarked on their first home journey for their kids.
Viewers praised Kim Na-young for her impressive interior design skills, which she often showcases on her YouTube channel. Fellow cast member Kim Sook highlighted her talent and inquired about her tips for creating a stylish yet functional space for children. The beautifully arranged living room and thoughtfully designed areas caught everyone's attention.
Kim Na-young shared, "Many people ask how to decorate a home for kids, and I advise against buying too many toys." This prompted laughter as others chimed in, jokingly asking if she was ignoring her children's preferences. She explained, "I prefer to borrow toys; once they outgrow them, we return them."
When asked if her children have a sense of ownership over their toys, she replied, "Not really; they understand that these are borrowed items." Comedian Yang Se-hyung humorously asked if Kim Na-young's outfits were hand-me-downs, to which she responded, "I wear new clothes," eliciting more laughter from the group.
The conversation also touched on the topic of sleep training, with Kim Na-young revealing that she started having her children sleep separately at the age of six. She humorously noted, "We promised that on weekends, they wouldn’t wake me up."
In recent news, Kim Na-young has gained attention for becoming a property owner worth 9.9 billion KRW. She has recently moved into a larger home to accommodate her growing children, featuring a clean aesthetic and an array of stylish decor and artwork throughout.
