Kim Nam-gil Faces a Dire Situation in 'Hot Blooded Priest 2'

In the latest episode of SBS's drama 'Hot Blooded Priest 2' aired on December 13, Kim Hae-il (played by Kim Nam-gil) finds himself in a precarious situation as he attempts to save Park Kyung-sun (Lee Ha-nee). The episode unfolds with Kim Hong-sik (Sung Joon) summoning Park Kyung-sun to the church, where she questions the urgency of his request. Hong-sik explains that he has a business trip the next day, prompting Kyung-sun to internally express her relief that he is finally leaving. When she questions why he needs to inform her about his trip, Hong-sik asks if she could accompany him for some legal matters, admitting he struggles with them. Kyung-sun, baffled, points out that his company has lawyers, but Hong-sik insists that his lawyer lacks assertiveness and believes Kyung-sun's advice would be beneficial.

Despite his pleas, Kyung-sun firmly declines, stating her position as a public servant prohibits her from getting involved in private company affairs. Hong-sik, desperate, jokes about needing to bribe her with food, suggesting he might have to resort to offering 'bossam' (Korean pork belly) to win her over, to which Kyung-sun retorts that she prefers 'jokbal' (pig's trotters).

The tension escalates when Hong-sik discovers that Kyung-sun is a spy and subsequently kidnaps her. Using her phone, he coldly informs Kim Hae-il about her location, hinting that she is close to meeting her end. Upon discovering Kyung-sun tied to a chair in the church, Hae-il rushes to rescue her. Over the church's speaker system, Hong-sik chillingly explains the purpose of the chair, revealing that it is used to execute those who do not heed his warnings by inducing a painful death with a drug overdose.

He coldly details the horrific fate awaiting Kyung-sun, stating that she will suffer immensely before her demise. Hong-sik then directs Hae-il to find a gun, suggesting that if he does, Kyung-sun might survive. In a moment of despair, Hong-sik points the gun at his own head, expressing gratitude to everyone before a gunshot rings out.
