Kim Minju and Choi Yujoo Win Rookie Acting Awards at 2024 SBS Drama Awards

On December 21, 2024, former IZ*ONE member Kim Minju and Cherry Bullet's Choi Yujoo were honored with the Rookie Acting Awards at the 2024 SBS Drama Awards held at the SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Seoul. The event was hosted by Shin Dong-yup, Kim Hye-yoon, and Kim Ji-yeon (Bona).

Kim Minju, recognized for her role in 'Connection' (커넥션), expressed her gratitude, stating, "I am so thankful for this undeserved award. It was a truly happy moment to be able to share the stage with seniors I have always respected. I learned a lot and had a wonderful time on set." She also thanked the production team of 'Connection' and her supporters, including her family and fans, saying, "I will work hard. Thank you."

Choi Yujoo, who starred in 'The Resurrection of the Seven' (7인의 부활), shared her surprise at receiving such a significant award. "I was so nervous because I never expected to receive such a big honor. I am grateful to writer Kim Soon-ok and director Oh Joon-hyuk for creating this precious gift. I felt honored to receive so much support from my seniors on set. Thank you to all the directors, staff, my agency, family, and fans. I will continue to work hard. Thank you very much," she said.
