Kim Min-jong Reflects on Past Relationship with Lee Seung-yeon

Singer and actor Kim Min-jong recently opened up about his past relationship with Lee Seung-yeon during an appearance on Jang Young-ran's YouTube channel. The episode, titled 'Why Did Jang Young-ran Get Surprised Seeing Kim Min-jong's Second House? (Rich Bachelor)', aired on December 23, 2024.

In the video, Jang Young-ran introduced Kim Min-jong as 'our generous older brother who treats everyone during gatherings,' noting that it was their second meeting. She mentioned that she was contacted by Kim Gura, who encouraged her to reach out to Kim Min-jong.

Kim Min-jong shared that he has been living in Yangpyeong for five years and wanted to promote his favorite restaurant to Kim Gura. However, he humorously noted that the response to their channel wasn't great, leading Jang Young-ran to recommend him instead.

During the conversation, Kim Min-jong brought up his former girlfriend, Lee Seung-yeon, with whom he had a six-year relationship before they parted ways. Jang Young-ran remarked that they were contemporaries in the industry, to which Kim Min-jong added, 'We did a lot together, not just work-related.' He also mentioned that they occasionally check in on each other and that he sometimes calls her 'big sister.'

Kim Min-jong candidly expressed that he has always been attracted to older women. He recounted a conversation with Lee Seung-yeon, where she playfully asked him why he wasn't married yet, saying, 'You should get married, it seems nice.' He laughed, reflecting on how time flies and suggested they should grab a meal together soon.
