Kim Jun-ho's Heartfelt Proposal to Kim Ji-min on 'My Little Old Boy'

In the latest episode of SBS's variety show My Little Old Boy (미운 우리 새끼), aired on December 22, 2024, Kim Jun-ho surprised Kim Ji-min with an emotional proposal. The episode featured Kim Ji-min's mother making a special appearance as part of the 'Special Mother Avengers' in the studio.
To prepare for the proposal, Kim Jun-ho sought help from Lee Sang-min, who jokingly asked if he thought Kim Ji-min might change her mind. Kim Jun-ho responded with a smile as he discreetly revealed a ring from his pocket. Lee Sang-min then inquired if Kim Jun-ho was serious about marriage, to which he replied, "I’ll go ahead first."
Lee Sang-min teased, "Just go, but don’t come back," while Kim Jun-ho humorously shouted, "Cancel that!" The studio audience, including Seo Jang-hoon, laughed at the banter.
After rehearsing with Lee Sang-min, the proposal began. Unaware of the surprise, Kim Ji-min entered the elevator, wondering what was being prepared for her. When the doors opened, she found Kim Jun-ho holding a sketchbook, ready to express his feelings.
Earlier that day, Kim Jun-ho and Kim Ji-min had undergone a couple's health check-up, where he learned he had fatty liver disease and a low testosterone level. He promised to quit smoking and drinking, demonstrating his commitment by smashing a bottle of sugary alcohol. Kim Ji-min was taken aback but urged him to keep his promises.
The proposal culminated with the phrase, "Be my last love," as Kim Jun-ho led Kim Ji-min to the rooftop. She was astonished by the heartfelt setup he had prepared, which included a video montage of their journey together. Watching from outside, Kim Jun-ho couldn't hold back his tears.
Despite Lee Sang-min's attempts to console him, Kim Jun-ho was overwhelmed with emotion. Seo Jang-hoon expressed his mixed feelings of gratitude and sorrow, adding to the emotional atmosphere.
Moved by the touching video, Kim Ji-min also shed tears, and her mother was visibly emotional as well. Kim Jun-ho then appeared with the words, "Ji-min, will you marry me?" After singing a heartfelt song, he expressed his gratitude for her love and wished for a long-lasting relationship.
Kneeling down, he presented the ring and asked, "Will you marry me?" Kim Ji-min responded with a joyful, "Put it on me!" The studio erupted in tears at the couple's heartfelt moment.
Later, Kim Ji-min's mother shared her hopes for her future son-in-law, Kim Jun-ho, emphasizing the importance of health management, especially if they plan to have children in the future. She expressed her gratitude, saying, "Jun-ho, just take care of your health, and that’s all I ask."
