Kim Jong-min's Heartwarming Gesture on KBS2's Problematic Men

In the upcoming episode of KBS2's entertainment show, Problematic Men (옥탑방의 문제아들), airing on June 19, 2025, Kim Jong-min makes a special appearance. He expresses his gratitude to Kim Jong-kook by gifting a luxurious present to Kim Jong-kook's mother, in return for a wedding gift valued at 3 million won.
The episode features a reunion of the show's cast, including Song Eun-i, Kim Sook, Kim Jong-kook, Hong Jin-kyung, Yang Se-chan, and Joo Woo-jae, who engage in a lively quiz battle filled with dopamine-inducing challenges. Kim Jong-min, who recently had a highly publicized wedding, shares insights into his enduring presence in the entertainment industry.
During the show, the chemistry between Kim Jong-kook and Kim Jong-min shines as they reminisce about their competitive days in the 90s with their respective groups, Turbo and Koyote. Kim Jong-min humorously recalls, "There was a saying that Jong-kook hyung never hit fools. I met him more on variety shows than on stage, so I wasn't scared of him."
In a surprising twist, Kim Jong-kook, who was the only friend to question Kim Jong-min's marriage with, "Are you okay? Are you happy?" gifted him a refrigerator worth 3 million won. Kim Jong-kook revealed, "Kim Jong-min responded with an expensive luxury gift for my mom. I think he felt I wouldn’t accept a gift directly from him, so he chose to give it to my mom instead."
Additionally, Kim Jong-kook shared his recent purchase of a home in Nonhyeon-dong, which he bought entirely in cash, stating, "I never had any interest in financial investments. I thought it was fine to live in a one-room apartment. I just focused on saving money."
In contrast, Kim Jong-min mentioned his extensive experience in investments, including ventures in a meat restaurant, an internet cafe, and a shopping mall, which led to some unfortunate experiences. He humorously noted that since getting married, his wife advised him to just relax, showcasing his affectionate side as a devoted husband.
The dynamic between Kim Jong-kook and Kim Jong-min, oscillating between seriousness and silliness, promises to entertain viewers in this week's episode of Problematic Men. The show airs every Thursday at 8:30 PM on KBS 2TV.
