Kim Jong-min to Marry 11 Years Younger Girlfriend in February 2025

Kim Jong-min (김종민) of the group Koyote (코요태) is set to become the first member of his group to tie the knot, announcing his upcoming marriage to his 11-year-younger girlfriend in February 2025. This news has sparked excitement among his fellow members regarding the prospect of marriage.
In a recent episode of Channel A's 'Current Men's Life - Groom Class' (요즘 남자 라이프-신랑수업), aired on November 20, Kim Jong-min shared, "We have been together for over two years. It’s about time to set a wedding date." His relationship had been a topic of speculation on various entertainment shows, with many colleagues playfully pushing for his marriage.
Following the revelation of his younger girlfriend, public interest in his wedding plans intensified. Kim Jong-min's announcement of a specific wedding date has led to an outpouring of congratulations, signaling that his marriage is imminent.
During a performance on November 27, Kim Jong-min surprised the audience with his announcement after a passionate stage show with Koyote. He expressed, "Now that I’m in my mid-40s, I’m finally taking 'Groom Class.' I hope that by next year, I won’t be single anymore," which was met with enthusiastic applause.
Ida-hae (이다해) humorously remarked on the competitive atmosphere, noting that with Park Hyun-ho (박현호) also set to marry on April 12, 2025, there’s a friendly rivalry brewing. Kim Jong-min confidently stated, "I plan to get married in February or March next year."
In a conversation with fellow members Shin Ji (신지) and Baekga (빽가), Shin Ji commented on Kim Jong-min's transformation from a workaholic to someone who now enjoys traveling and personal time, attributing this change to his girlfriend. She noted, "He used to be so absorbed in work that I wondered how he could live like that. Now, he seems to have softened up a lot."
When asked if she felt left out, Shin Ji replied, "I think he’s doing well. You can’t just live for work. He’s become much more approachable." Baekga added, "He’s become more flexible overall."
Shin Ji also shared an interesting tidbit from a fortune teller who claimed that Koyote would only be able to move forward once Kim Jong-min took the lead in marriage. As the conversation shifted to wedding plans, Kim Jong-min playfully asked, "If we get married, what can we do for each other?"
Baekga expressed his willingness to support Kim Jong-min, saying, "Now that your marriage is becoming a reality, I feel like I can do anything for you." Shin Ji chimed in about wedding gifts, to which Kim Jong-min jokingly replied, "Don’t give me any gifts!"
Kim Jong-min then pondered, "If we all get married, will Koyote still be able to perform?" Shin Ji responded, "As long as you’re not heavily pregnant, I think we can still perform. It’s said that moving around is good during pregnancy, and it’s beneficial for childbirth. We might not be able to jump around on stage, but I think we can manage."
With Kim Jong-min's marriage announcement, anticipation is growing among Shin Ji and Baekga regarding their own potential wedding news, fueled by Kim Jong-min's positive energy.
