Kim Jong-min Reveals Meeting His 11-Year-Younger Girlfriend's Family

In the latest episode of Channel A's reality show, 'Yojeum Namja Life: Shinrang Su-eob' (요즘 남자 라이프 신랑수업), Kim Jong-min shared that he has met the family of his girlfriend, who is 11 years his junior. The episode aired on December 18, showcasing Park Hyun-ho, the prospective son-in-law, participating in the traditional kimjang (김장) event with his fiancée Eun Ga-eun's family.

Park Hyun-ho explained his visit to Eun Ga-eun's hometown in Gimhae, stating, "There is a very important family event that happens only once a year." As they walked together, he expressed his curiosity about Eun Ga-eun's childhood, saying, "I’ve always been curious about Ga-eun when she was young, but you don’t share much about it." Eun Ga-eun humorously responded, "Honey, there are things that couples must keep private. I know you’re curious about childhood photos, but I absolutely won’t allow that!"

Upon arriving at Eun Ga-eun's family home, her mother greeted Park Hyun-ho warmly, seemingly ignoring her daughter. Observing this, Lee Da-hae remarked, "Hyun-ho looks a lot like his future mother-in-law, while Ga-eun resembles her future mother-in-law," which led Park Hyun-ho to joke, "I guess we were destined to be family."

The significant event was the preparation of 60 cabbages for kimjang, with the entire family present. Lee Seung-cheol, noticing the family dynamics, asked Kim Jong-min if he had met his girlfriend's family yet. Kim Jong-min confirmed, saying, "I met her brother, but he’s much younger than me, and I wasn’t sure how to approach him." In response, Shin Jin-hwa advised, "Even if your wife’s brother is younger, you should still call him ‘hyung’ (형)." Lee Seung-cheol humorously disagreed, prompting Kim Jong-min to share, "There’s a 9-year age gap, but he insisted on calling me ‘hyung,’ so I said, ‘Okay.’"

Additionally, Kim Jong-min has been dating a non-celebrity girlfriend with the intention of marriage, which has garnered significant attention.
