Kim Jong-min Reveals Girlfriend's Nickname on 'My Husband's School'

On the November 27 episode of Channel A's variety show My Husband's School (신랑수업), Kim Jong-min shared the affectionate nickname he uses for his girlfriend.

During the broadcast, Kim Jong-min was seen thinking about his girlfriend even while attending a regional event. In the first segment, the couple Eun Ga-eun and Park Hyun-ho, who are set to marry in April next year, visited a friend's wedding venue to check on details like floral arrangements, the aisle, and entrance music. When asked by Moon Se-yoon about his choice for the entrance song, Kim Jong-min expressed his desire to use "Our Dream" by his group Koyote (코요태).

He also mentioned that he would like to ask Lee Seung-chul to perform at the wedding, joking that he finds the frequent requests for speeches from Koyote members a bit tiresome.

In the second segment, Kim Jong-min's daily routine was highlighted, showing him checking his phone first thing in the morning to report in. He explained, "I’m the type to communicate in real-time. Wherever I go, I keep in touch to stay on her mind."

When Lee Da-hae asked about his girlfriend's nickname, Kim revealed, "She often calls me 'Hi-woong,' so I call her 'Hi-woong' too." He added that he uses different names for himself depending on the situation, such as "Stubborn Jong-min" when he’s in trouble, or "Loving Jong-min" and "Cute Jong-min" when things are good. Lee Da-hae humorously remarked, "If you’re called cute, it’s all over from that point."

Worried about his appearance due to their 11-year age difference, Kim Jong-min expressed his concern about his growing wrinkles, stating, "Since my girlfriend is younger, I need to take care of myself." He was seen brushing his teeth vigorously and frequently updating his girlfriend on his activities.

He also shared that he sends her morning running selfies, and when Lee Da-hae inquired about her reactions if he fails to send updates, he admitted, "She gets a bit suspicious," before correcting himself to say, "She worries about me," which brought laughter.

In a notable revelation, Kim Jong-min confirmed that he is in a relationship with a non-celebrity girlfriend who is 11 years younger than him, and they are dating with marriage in mind.
