Kim Jong-min Opens Up About Challenges with Future Brother-in-Law on 'My Husband's Life'

In the latest episode of Channel A's variety show My Husband's Life (신랑수업), Kim Jong-min shared his struggles regarding his relationship with his future brother-in-law, Park Hyun-ho. The episode aired on December 18, 2024, and featured Park Hyun-ho preparing kimchi with his fiancée Eun Ga-eun's family.
Park Hyun-ho and Eun Ga-eun visited her family home in Gimhae, where Eun Ga-eun's mother warmly welcomed Park without even acknowledging her daughter. Observing this, Lee Da-hae remarked, "Hyun-ho looks just like his future mother-in-law, while Ga-eun resembles her future mother-in-law," which led to laughter among the panelists. Park Hyun-ho shyly responded, "I guess it was fate to become family."
As the family gathered, Lee Seung-cheol asked Kim Jong-min if he had met his fiancée's family yet. Kim confirmed he had but expressed his discomfort about meeting his girlfriend's younger brother, saying, "He is much younger than me, and I didn't know how to approach him."
Shin Jin-hwa suggested that even if he is younger, he should still refer to him as 'hyung' (older brother). Kim Jong-min humorously replied, "There’s a nine-year age gap, but he insisted on calling me hyung, so I said, 'Okay.'"
Additionally, Kim Jong-min has been in a relationship with a non-celebrity girlfriend who is 11 years younger than him, and they are dating with marriage in mind, which has garnered significant attention.
