Kim Jong-min Announces Marriage Plans After Two-Year Relationship with 11-Year Younger Girlfriend

Kim Jong-min of the group Koyote has finally made plans to tie the knot. On the November 20 episode of Channel A's 'Yojeum Namja Life - Groom Class' (요즘 남자 라이프-신랑수업), Kim Il-woo's life in Gangneung was showcased. During the episode, Kim Il-woo gifted Lee Deok-hwa with homemade bread, and Lee, known for his love of fishing, attempted to teach Kim Il-woo how to fish. However, due to weather conditions, they decided to forgo fishing and instead prepared spicy rockfish soup.

Lee Deok-hwa praised Kim Il-woo's cooking skills, saying, "You must be popular with women because you cook well. There’s no reason for women to dislike you. You’re handsome, fit, a good actor, and earn well. What more could you need? It seems like you’re the one who doesn’t like women." Although Kim Il-woo hesitated, Lee Deok-hwa encouraged him, stating, "Making a decision takes just a few seconds."

Seeing this, Lee Seung-chul chimed in, saying, "That’s great advice," and asked the 'Groom Class' members how they would react if a beautiful, cultured, and kind woman appeared in their lives. Kim Jong-min responded, "I can’t rush into it. I think I need to experience all four seasons with her first." However, he also declared, "Since I’ve been with my girlfriend for over two years, it’s enough time to decide on marriage." When Lee Seung-chul inquired about the wedding date, Kim Jong-min confidently replied, "I need to set it now!" which earned him applause.

Kim Jong-min is currently in a relationship with a non-celebrity woman who is 11 years younger than him. He has previously mentioned on various shows, including 'Cultwo Show' (컬투쇼), that he is planning to marry around next year, although he has no specific proposal plans yet.

Backup member Baekga commented, "The first time I saw her, I thought she was noble and beautiful. She spoke so elegantly that I thought, 'She must come from a wealthy family.'" Shinji added, "She has everything. She’s so decisive and has positively changed Kim Jong-min. It’s amazing that she has transformed someone as stubborn as him."
