Kim Jong-kook Sparks Marriage Rumors with New Home Purchase

On June 29, during an episode of SBS's reality show 'My Little Old Boy' (미운 우리 새끼), Kim Jong-kook (김종국) surprised viewers with a bombshell statement hinting at marriage while showcasing his analog lifestyle. The episode featured Kim traveling to a summer getaway with fellow cast members Heo Kyung-hwan (허경환), Ma Seon-ho (마선호), and Jonathan (조나단). However, their journey was anything but smooth, as the car's air conditioning was malfunctioning, leading to complaints from his companions. Adding to the humor, Kim revealed his philosophy against using navigation systems, stating, "I don't use GPS. I search for addresses and look at maps. I trust my instincts over machines." He even shared a story about walking for 40 minutes at night because he refused to download a taxi app, leaving everyone astonished.
Heo Kyung-hwan cautiously broached the topic of Kim's recent purchase of a house worth 6.2 billion won in Gangnam, suggesting it might be a preparation for marriage. Kim responded, "That's true. I need to prepare. What will I do without a house?" This statement seemed to confirm the marriage rumors. When Heo asked if Kim had a girlfriend, Kim replied, "Not exactly, but preparation is necessary." Heo jokingly congratulated him on his marriage, to which Kim quickly dismissed, saying, "Don't do that. Don't push me into it."
Kim's ambiguous reactions only fueled further speculation. Heo pointed out that typically one would deny such claims, but Kim's response was unusual. Kim then made a gesture to silence the conversation, which caught the attention of the mothers of the 'Movenjers' cast, who smiled knowingly, suggesting there might be someone special in Kim's life.
In addition to his analog sensibilities, Kim Jong-kook's meticulous management of his private life and future planning hints at a potential 'pink start' in his personal life, leaving viewers intrigued about what lies ahead.
