Kim Jong-kook Shares His 13% Pass Rate Experience on Running Man

On the April 13 episode of SBS's Running Man (런닝맨), Kim Jong-kook (김종국) recounted his experience obtaining a driver's license in the United States. During the show, he took on the role of a driving instructor and proudly shared, "I got my driver's license in America too. On that day, 15 people took the test, and only two passed, including me!" He humorously noted that the pass rate was just 13%, stating, "The U.S. driving test is really tough, so I feel accomplished to have passed it."

Later in the episode, Choi Daniel (최다니엘) also took on the role of a driving instructor, demonstrating how to refuel a car. He amusingly admitted, "I can't read the navigation well; it took me 11 hours to get from Seoul to Yangyang!" This led to laughter as he explained he left in the morning and arrived at night. When Yoo Jae-suk (유재석) expressed skepticism about his navigation skills, it added to the humor of the moment.

In a light-hearted exchange, Ji Ye-eun (지예은) reacted to Yoo Jae-suk's suggestion to jump in, saying, "I can't jump in?" which caused everyone to burst into laughter as they playfully responded, "When driving, we're friends!"
