Kim Jaejoong's INCODE Entertainment Secures Major Investment for Global Expansion

INCODE Entertainment, co-founded by Kim Jaejoong, has successfully secured a significant investment of 12 billion KRW, marking a pivotal step towards becoming a global comprehensive entertainment company. On March 21, INCODE announced that it received this investment through a club deal involving Stick Ventures, CJ Investment, SL Investment, and Mirae Asset Venture Investment. The company aims to grow into a leading global content enterprise in K-pop and K-culture with this funding.

Founded in May 2023 by Kim Jaejoong and former Cube Entertainment Vice President Noh Yoon-sang, INCODE has shown rapid growth in less than two years. Notably, the girl group Say My Name, led by Chief Strategy Officer Kim Jaejoong, has gained attention by doubling its initial sales within just five months of debut. The group is set to hold fan meetings in Japan and performances in Hong Kong in April, establishing itself as a rising global rookie.

Looking ahead, INCODE plans to launch a boy group in the second half of the year and is quickly expanding its roster of actors. In addition to established talents like Shin Soo-hang, Jung Si-hyun, and Song Woo-joo, the company has recently welcomed a diverse array of stars, including Nicole (from KARA), Kim Min-jae, and Lee Ji-hoon, accelerating its acquisition of actor IP.

Noh Yoon-sang stated, "We aim to become a value-driven entertainment company centered around competitive global IP," outlining a vision to enhance their presence in the global market through systematic K-pop development and content expansion.
