Kim Jaejoong Remembers His First Love on 'Newly Released Menu'

On the March 28 episode of KBS2TV's Newly Released Menu (신상출시 편스토랑), Kim Jaejoong (김재중) brought back memories of his first love from childhood. Upon arriving at the waiting room, he expressed, "You must be nervous," and immediately brightened the atmosphere with laughter as he was greeted by his mother, who was there due to his appearance on Morning Yard (아침마당). Kim joked, "Making an appearance on Morning Yard is a sign of success," showcasing his veteran broadcasting skills as he strategized with his mother. She shared her fondness for KBS, adding to the cheerful mood.

After the show, when asked about the times he felt most nervous, Kim's mother became emotional while recalling their adoption story, saying, "Thinking about it still brings tears to my eyes." Kim responded, "It's something I can never hide," as they comforted each other with their eyes. His mother reassured him, "No matter what anyone says, you are my son," which warmed the hearts of those watching.

While looking at a friend named 'Soo-gyeom' from his album, Kim reminisced about his first love, stating, "I even remember her name." His mother playfully asked, "Was she the one you had your first kiss with?" to which Kim replied, "We were in kindergarten; it was just a crush, not a kiss!"

He then addressed the camera, saying, "Soo-gyeom, how are you? I wonder if you’re happily married. This is how I’m living my life," sending a video message. His mother humorously added, "If you’re not married, come find my son," leading to laughter as Kim was caught off guard by her earnestness.
