Kim Jaejoong Reflects on Adoption Journey with His Mother

On December 24, 2024, singer Kim Jaejoong and his adoptive mother, Yoo Man-soon, shared their heartfelt adoption story during an appearance on KBS1's 'Morning Yard'. Kim Jaejoong was adopted at the age of three by Yoo's family, which already had eight daughters. Yoo recounted their first meeting, explaining that a relative brought Kim to her, suggesting she take him in despite her initial hesitations about raising another child. She described Kim as beautiful and charming, recalling how he called her 'Mom' when she held him. This moment solidified her decision to raise him as her own.

Yoo expressed her pride in Kim's accomplishments, stating, 'He has grown up so well and is such a devoted son. There is no son like him.' In response, Kim Jaejoong expressed his gratitude, emphasizing that his mother's love and care were what mattered most.
